Here are my 10 of the best from London Fashion Week, let me know what you think of my favourites, what were yours?
Show I would most have liked to attend
As a big Vivienne Westwood fan, her Red Label show would have been my show of choice and she didn’t disappoint with not only the clothes but the fabulous make-up.
House of Holland gets my best set award for purple cloudy crazy haziness
Best use of Props/ Entertainment
More of a collection showing than a catwalk Stella McCartney for Adidas had models performing ariel yoga, I think that would have kept me entertained
Best front row
Well as you may already know if you’re a regular reader of my blog that I have a bit of a soft spot for the glitz of Julien Macdoanld, and apparently I’m not the only one. The designer had the likes of Abbey Clancy, Paloma Faith and fellow hometown girl Beverley Knight in his front row.
Best Instagram coverage
Of course it’s London Fashion Week, so of course British Vogue is going to have the best Instacoverage
Best hair and make-up
Bronzing and metallic pencils for the eyes with Topshop Unique got me thinking that I’ll be seeing a lot of that here in the south next summer along with natural wavy hair
Totally fell in love with these beauties that also came down the catwalk in white…thank you Pringle of Scotland
It was all about the bags at Mulberry and I fell in love with this little number
Best most likely NOT to wear it to my local french market
As much as I love the individual pieces of Meadham Kirchhoff, I must admit as an ensemble I don’t think I will be wearing them to my local sunday market
Best most likely to wear in the South of France
Fell in love with the Burberry Prorsum collection and can see the ladies of the south strutting about in these easy to wear pieces
See you soon for the best of Milan
