When I first heard about La Ligne I knew that I was going to fall head over heels with this brand!
Firstly, the brand was created by two former Vogue fashion editors (Valerie Boster and Meredith Melling) and ex-Rag & Bone business developer director (Molly Howard). The ladies formed the collection as they wanted to create clothes that are everyday necessities, that we can eat, drink and sleep in if we wanted to. I love this quote from La Ligne site.
We want to infuse a sense of fun into our collections. We don’t want to be pretentious with fashion.
Secondly, this collection is based around stripes, and I am a complete stripe obsessive! It’s such a simple print with a lot of clout, fits any age group, can be worked into almost any closet male or female, and helps give easy, relaxed, character to any outfit.
